Humpback Tracking

There are multiple ways to track whales and dolphins, each of which has advantages and disadvantages.  Many aspects of animal behavior are closely related to the interaction between individuals, but it can be hard to track more than one whale from a single boat at the same time. My research uses the underwater songs of humpback whales to track their movements. Even when we can't see them.
